Benefits

Benefits of implementation

Automation of day-to-day operations

Schedules generate orders; the orders are sent to carriers; and status updates are returned to the system without any manual intervention by the planner.

Flexibility in the face of fluctuating demand

Additional courses planned on an ad-hoc basis help to cope with peaks in volume, campaigns and non-standard orders without disrupting the regular schedule.

Making full use of resources

Management of both in-house and contract fleets from a single console, including the rotation of semi-trailers and tractor units.

Accuracy of settlements with carriers

Calculations based on actual operational data replace spreadsheets and manual calculations.

The process

How does it work?

See what the workflow looks like.

  • 1

The planner draws up timetables and regular services based on the transport network and volume forecasts.

  • 2

The system automatically generates transport orders and notifies hauliers of upcoming journeys.

  • 3

During the course, staff at the gate and in the sorting centre record statuses via a mobile app, and the data is displayed on the dispatcher’s screen.

  • 4

Once the accounting period has ended, the system automatically calculates costs, issues documents and exports data to the ERP system.
